The UK population saves an average of £325 per month towards their retirement, a study reveals

Workplace pensions and auto-enrolment schemes weigh heavily on many UK people’s minds, due to the significant amount of media attention the topics have been receiving across 2017.

Take a look at the pensions map graphic (below) from True Potential Investor, to find out which regions are saving the most and getting ready for retirement. Their research reports that the UK population added an average of £325 to their personal pension pots each month during Q4 2016. Interestingly, within the same period, 11% of people in Northern Ireland and 8% in London were able to save over £5,000 per month to their pension pots.
